Individualized Teaching Technology Grant Awards Announced

Five SUNYIT Faculty members have been awarded “Individualized Teaching Technology” grants through CETL. The technology requested, including a SmartBoard, Laptops, an iPod, and Voice Recorders — should be in the hands of the recipients by the end of March.

• Grants to faculty ranging from $100 to $2,000 for information technology used for instructional purposes.
• All full-time, tenured or tenure-track SUNYIT faculty, not on leave during the Spring 2007 and Fall 2007 semesters, are eligible to apply.
• CETL to host “Idea Laboratory” sessions in December and January to help faculty translate instructional goals and concepts into grant proposals.
• Application deadline: January 29, 2007
